WhoWhatWhy is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven, and relationship-oriented Fundraising Manager to lead and enhance our donor engagement and fundraising efforts. If you thrive in collaborative environments, excel at relationship-building, and have a passion for nonprofit work, this role is perfect for you. You will work closely with our CEO, ambassadors, and volunteers to manage donor relationships, maintain Salesforce data, and drive key fundraising initiatives that align with our organizational goals.
Must be able to attend and contribute to bi-weekly meetings held on every alternate Tuesday at 12.00PM EST
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and train volunteers for donor development
- Lead and coordinate fundraising efforts, ensuring they are aligned with WhoWhatWhy’s mission and values
- Analyze and maintain Salesforce data, ensuring accuracy and usability for effective donor management
- Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with potential donors, prospects, and existing supporters
- Collaborate with ambassadors, volunteers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute relationship-driven fundraising strategies
- Manage donor-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet strategic objectives
- Schedule and lead donor meetings, presentations, and follow-ups
- Provide regular reports and updates on fundraising progress and donor management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in sales management, fundraising, or a related field, preferably in a nonprofit or startup environment
- Strong experience with Salesforce CRM, including data analysis, reporting, and database management
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience in managing donor relationships, including cultivation, stewardship, and retention strategies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform fundraising strategies and optimize outcomes

Expectations:
- Commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week and maintain high responsiveness through Slack, email, and conference calls
- Commit to a minimum of 12 months to ensure continuity and meaningful contributions
- Attend bi-weekly department meetings on Tuesdays at 12:00 PM EST
